Burger joint

Gauchos, a recipe of tradition

With an original recipe from Uruguay and strong inspiration from the traditional Uruguayan cowboys, known as Gauchos, this fast-casual burger restaurant sought an identity that reflected the deep-rooted traditions of its homeland.

The challenge was to convey that this is not just a place to enjoy great food, but a celebration of Uruguayan culinary originality in the heart of Bogotá, Colombia, showcasing its renowned burger recipe.

To achieve this, the design focused on key elements of Uruguayan tradition. The visual identity incorporates geometric patterns inspired by the wave designs found on Gaucho ponchos. The use of wood and traditional materials adds authenticity, while a vibrant color palette, drawn from the Uruguayan flag, enhances and modernizes the identity. Gauchos' visual identity is a contemporary ode to the traditional recipe the restaurant is known for.
